Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and décor, ensuring alignment with client goals and budgets Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure the best terms and value Develop comprehensive event timelines and checklists to manage multiple projects efficiently Oversee event marketing efforts to promote events effectively across various channels and maximize attendance Manage budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and upselling additional services or upgrades to enhance event quality Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and maintaining clear communication throughout the planning process Supervise on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown while ensuring safety protocols and hospitality standards are met Collaborate with catering teams to coordinate menu selections, banquet arrangements, and special dietary requirements Handle guest services with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds expectations Maintain strong organizational records including contracts, vendor contacts, permits, and post-event evaluations Experience Proven experience in event planning or coordination within hospitality settings such as hotels, restaurants, or banquet facilities Strong background in event marketing strategies and promotional activities Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management for events Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and clients to secure favorable terms Experience in upselling additional services or packages to clients for increased revenue opportunities Knowledge of contracts management related to venue rentals, catering agreements, and service providers Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Exceptional communication skills coupled with outstanding organizational abilities Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles that emphasize customer satisfaction Embark on a rewarding career where your enthusiasm for events meets your talent for organization!
