Job Description

Description At Children's Hope Alliance, every donation tells a story—and you'll play a key role in making sure each one is handled with care, accuracy, and gratitude. As part of our Development team, you'll be at the heart of our mission, ensuring donors have an exceptional experience while supporting the vital programs that serve children and families. Position Summary Children's Hope Alliance is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support our Financial Development team. This role is responsible for gift processing, donor services, CRM data management, and event support to ensure an exceptional donor experience and strong operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Process and code gifts from multiple sources (checks, online, ACH, stock, donor-advised funds, etc.) Prepare daily deposits and provide reconciliation reports to Finance Manage pledges, recurring gifts, and matching gift follow-up Maintain accurate donor records in CRM (Salesforce preferred) Generate reports, mailing lists, and data for Development and Finance teams Respond to donor inquiries and provide high-quality customer service Support acknowledgements, tribute gifts, and donor communications Assist with events, volunteer coordination, and seasonal campaigns Process gifts-in-kind and coordinate donation logistics Collaborate across teams to ensure data accuracy and donor intent alignment Maintain strict confidentiality of donor information Requirements Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred or equivalent experience Experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor services, or data/CRM work preferred General bookkeeping knowledge preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) CRM/database experience required (Salesforce preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and insurable by agency carrier Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and support occasional event needs Availability for periodic evening/weekend events Successful completion of background and driving record checks Why Join Us Join a mission-driven organization making a lasting impact on children and families across North Carolina.
