Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales and Events Manager to lead the planning, promotion, and execution of a diverse range of events while driving sales growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend hospitality, marketing, and sales expertise to create memorable experiences for guests and clients alike. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic event marketing initiatives, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event operations that exceed expectations. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote event spaces, catering services, and hospitality offerings. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events including venue setup, catering arrangements, guest services, and vendor management. Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining high-quality standards. Upsell additional services such as premium packages, upgrades, or special amenities to maximize revenue opportunities. Lead marketing efforts for events through targeted campaigns, social media promotion, and community outreach to attract diverse clientele. Manage budgets for events ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality; track expenses and optimize resource allocation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Collaborate with internal teams including catering, banquet staff, and hospitality personnel to deliver flawless events aligned with client expectations. Maintain detailed records of contracts, event logistics, guest feedback, and financial transactions for reporting purposes. Stay informed about industry trends in event marketing and hospitality to continuously innovate event offerings. Skills Proven negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while fostering long-term relationships. Strong background in marketing strategies tailored to event promotion and brand visibility. Expertise in upselling techniques to enhance revenue streams from events and services. Extensive experience in event planning and management within hospitality or restaurant settings; banquet experience is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and personalized experiences. Effective time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines. Knowledge of event marketing tools and platforms for outreach and engagement purposes. Ability to manage budgets accurately while maintaining high standards of quality; experience with budgeting software is a plus. Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, team members, and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in contract management, logistics coordination, and documentation. Experience in hotel or hospitality environments that involve catering or large-scale event operations is preferred.
