Job Description

Events Planning Intern Marketing & Community Engagement Location:
NJ (Multi-Site + Hybrid) Position Overview Alliance Orthopedics is rapidly expanding its community footprint across nine New Jersey locations. From community health outreach events and provider appreciation nights to continuing education conferences and brand activations, our team runs a full calendar of events that require coordination, creativity, and execution. The Events Planning Intern will work directly with our marketing and operations teams to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide variety of events, both clinical and community-facing. This role is ideal for a student who is organized, personable, and energized by bringing ideas to life in the real world. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and logistics coordination for community outreach events and health fairs Support execution of internal staff appreciation, team-building, and culture events Research and vet vendors, venues, and event service providers across NJ Build and maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, and vendor contact lists Coordinate with the media team to ensure events are photographed and captured on video Draft event communications including invitations, reminders, and follow-up materials Manage event supply inventory, setup, and breakdown logistics Track event attendance and post-event performance metrics Qualifications & Requirements Currently enrolled in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications Highly organized with strong attention to logistical detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and basic project management tools Ability to work some evenings or weekends for event execution Prior experience with club events, community organizing, or volunteer coordination a plus Must be eligible to receive academic credit through your university What You'll Gain Gain direct, hands-on experience coordinating real-world events from inception to execution Develop vendor management and negotiation skills in a professional healthcare setting Build a working knowledge of event marketing and community outreach strategy Learn to create event briefs, run-of-show documents, and post-event reports Strengthen cross-departmental coordination and communication skills
