Key Responsibilities Event Planning and Execution
  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events, community programs, donor receptions, and recognition activities.
  • Coordinate all event logistics including venues, vendors, timelines, registration, signage, audiovisual needs, and catering.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
  • Manage event budgets, sponsorship deliverables, and post event reporting.
  • Oversee onsite event operations and volunteer coordination. Community and Public Engagement
  • Help create relationships with community organizations, business leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
  • Support initiatives that elevate the Medical Center's visibility and mission throughout Bergen County and surrounding communities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on event promotion, social media, invitations, and public relations opportunities. Fundraising and Development
  • Support the implementation of annual fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate sponsorship outreach and benefit fulfillment for fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Maintain donor records, event tracking, and development databases.
  • Assist with grant support materials, donor communications, and fundraising collateral.
  • Help identify new philanthropic and corporate partnership opportunities.
  • Assist with donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition initiatives Operational Support
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and donor correspondence.
  • Track fundraising metrics, sponsorship revenue, attendance, and engagement outcomes.
  • Maintain calendars, timelines, and project management systems related to events and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and fundraising best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, marketing, hospitality, Development, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in event planning, nonprofit management, healthcare marketing, fundraising, development, or related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with sponsors, donors, executives, and community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor or CRM database systems.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events. Preferred Characteristics

Salary commensurate with experience within posted range: $75,000 to $80,000 annually We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plans.
