Venue Event Lead (Seasonal Part-Time) Partyman Catering | Avon, NY $19-$23/hour | Evenings & Weekends Required We're looking for a confident, dependable, and hospitality-driven Venue Event Lead to help oversee weddings and events at our managed venues during our busy wedding season! This is a seasonal part-time role primarily active from May through November, with limited hours available during the winter/off-season months. This role focuses on the venue side of event execution — guest experience, vendor coordination, event flow, venue readiness, and on-site problem solving. You'll work alongside our catering team, but this is not a food service management position. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Help lead venue operations during weddings and events Monitor timelines and overall event flow Serve as the primary on-site venue contact for vendors Support couples, guests, planners, and internal teams throughout the event Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally Monitor venue cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort Assist with lighting, music volume, ambiance, and overall event atmosphere Enforce venue policies and respond to safety concerns as needed Oversee end-of-night breakdown and venue reset Complete post-event reporting and walkthroughs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong communication and leadership skills Calm, solution-oriented mindset Hospitality or event experience preferred Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail and guest experience Weekend and evening availability required Reliable transportation required

SCHEDULE

Seasonal part-time position primarily active May-November Average hours typically range from 16-24 hours/week during event season Peak-season weekends may increase to 30-36 hours/week Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are required during peak wedding season Limited hours may be available during the off-season months (December-April)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
