Events Floor Manager | Upstate NY | Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Floor Manager to join our team. This hybrid leadership role combines hands-on floor management with full-cycle event planning and execution for our brewery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, balancing guest-facing service excellence with behind-the-scenes coordination. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional daily taproom operations while designing and delivering memorable, high-quality events that align with our brand and drive revenue. Key Responsibilities Floor Management & Taproom Operations
  • Act as the on-duty leader for taproom operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts
  • Oversee daily floor execution, including opening/closing procedures, staffing coverage, and service flow
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest experiences; actively engage with guests and resolve issues in real time
  • Supervise, support, and motivate front-of-house staff, including bartenders and support team members
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff on service standards, product knowledge, and guest engagement
  • Step into service roles (including bartending) as needed to support the team during peak hours or staffing gaps
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by enforcing sanitation, safety, and health standards
  • Monitor inventory levels for bar and event needs; communicate supply requirements to management
  • Ensure compliance with all local/state alcohol regulations and company policies
  • Handle cash management, POS accuracy, and end-of-day reporting Other Half Brewing Company, LLC | 195 Centre St, Brooklyn, NY 11231 | Event Planning & Execution
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all brewery events from concept through completion
  • Develop event proposals, pricing structures, and customized packages to meet client needs and revenue goals
  • Create and maintain detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event timelines, and financial tracking documents
  • Conduct site visits with prospective clients and provide tours of the space
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all details are delivered to standard
  • Coordinate closely with taproom staff to integrate events seamlessly into daily operations
  • Ensure all events run efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with brand standards Client Relations & Sales
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients before, during, and after events
  • Communicate clearly regarding event expectations, timelines, and deliverables
  • Prepare invoices, finalize billing, and collect payments in a timely manner
  • Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and strengthen relationships Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts through creative event programming and outreach
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to develop new event concepts and experiences
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns, partnerships, and local activations
  • Assist in planning and executing in-house events, promotions, and community partnerships
  • Represent the brewery at events and within the local community to build brand awareness Team Communication & Leadership
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all team members regarding event details and operational updates
  • Lead pre-shift meetings and event briefings to ensure alignment across staff
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects company values

  • Previous experience in hospitality management, event coordination, or a related field
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay:
$63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
