Full-Time Description:
Reporting to the Director of Campus Visit Programming & New Student Orientation, the Associate Director for Campus Visit Programs and Events provides leadership for the planning, promotion, execution, and assessment of undergraduate admission events that support the University's enrollment goals. The position oversees campus visit programs and recruitment events, collaborates with campus partners, and manages event logistics, communications, budgets, and technology to ensure high-quality experiences for prospective and admitted students and their families. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required to support admission events. Plans, coordinates, and executes a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate admission programs and events that support the University's recruitment, enrollment, and visitor engagement goals. Develops and manages annual event calendars, project timelines, and operational plans for on-campus, virtual, and off-campus recruitment, and yield initiatives. Coordinates event logistics, program content, staffing, schedules, and event-day operations to ensure successful program delivery and a high-quality visitor experience. Collaborates with academic and administrative departments, faculty, staff, students, and other campus partners to secure participation and support for admission events. Develops and implements event communication and marketing strategies in partnership with university communications and marketing teams to maximize attendance and engagement. Manages event registration, communications, surveys, reporting, and related processes through Slate CRM and other event technology platforms. Monitors and assesses event performance through attendance metrics, participant feedback, and manages relationships with external vendors and service providers, including coordinating contracts, services, and event-related resources. Develops, monitors, and reconciles event budgets, processes expenditures, and maintains accurate financial records in accordance with university policies. Serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, families, school counselors, and campus stakeholders throughout the planning and execution of admission events, supports enrollment-related outcomes and recommends improvements to enhance future programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience in admissions, enrollment management, event planning, higher education administration, marketing, communications, or a related field. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale events and multiple concurrent projects. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and managing complex operational processes. Proficiency with CRM systems, databases, Microsoft Office applications, and event management technologies. Occasional travel for regional recruitment events and off-campus programs. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and assessment skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Experience with Slate CRM. Experience in undergraduate admissions, enrollment management, or recruitment event planning. Budget development and management experience.
