Job Description
A nonprofit, local, home health and hospice organization is seeking an outgoing, innovative, and creative-minded individual to join our team as our local Events Coordinator. This person will serve in the role of planning and coordinating community, fundrasing events in support of our hospice patient care fund. Flexible, part-time hours, and a great working environment. Job Responsibilities Coordinate community awareness and fundraising events Oversee the successful implementation of existing community events and plan new ones Overseeing the recruitment and placement of volunteers for events and hospice care Develop new business/community relationships and customer service Be a positive representative for CHP Home Care & Hospice Qualifications and Skills Relevant experience in marketing, fundraising, and/or event coordination Organized and detail-oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with event planning concepts, practices, facilitation, and procedures relating to event planning Ability to plan, motivate, and lead staff, community, and volunteers to participate in events Eagerness to learn and share the mission of the agency in the community Job Benefits Flexible schedules to fit your life Competitive salary Paid mileage Work/life balance
