Job Description

Job Overview Join BTTS Holdings, where we own and operate eight event venues, an in-house catering company, and an in-house floral company. We are looking to grow our team and hire a team of enthusiastic venue janitors and set up attendants. The Event Set Up and Cleaning Team Member plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every event. This position supports the preparation and restoration of wedding and event spaces, ensuring venues are beautifully presented before guests arrive and efficiently reset after celebrations conclude. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
  • Clean and sanitize event spaces, restrooms, bridal suites, hallways, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors following events and during resets.
  • Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, and manage waste disposal.
  • Monitor and restock restroom supplies including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to venue leadership. Event Setup & Breakdown
  • Set up event spaces according to floor plans, including tables, chairs (indoor and outdoor), and sweeps.
  • Assist with breakdown of event setups and return equipment to designated storage areas.
  • Ensure all setups align with client expectations and venue standards for appearance and layout. Team & Safety
  • Collaborate with venue staff, coordinators, and vendor teams to support seamless event execution.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and equipment handling procedures.
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with company guidelines. Qualifications
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving furniture, and working on ladders when needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to support the needs of the event team.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Previous cleaning, janitorial, or event setup experience preferred but not required. Key Skills & Traits

  • Starting at $20.00 - $22.00 p/h based on experience
