Job Description

Legacy Connections is looking for a passionate and people-centered Event Assistant to join our nonprofit outreach team in Oklahoma City, OK and neighboring communities. We build people and culture through intentional connection, and our partnership with Stand for the Silent, a Top-Rated nonprofit dedicated to anti-bullying awareness and teen suicide prevention. The Event Assistant role carries a real sales component. You'll be responsible for driving donor sign-ups, meeting fundraising goals, and contributing to campaign performance through direct, face-to-face community engagement. Event Assistant Responsibilities Drive sales sign‑ups at charity events by educating attendees on the campaign's mission. Educate community members at live events on how their contributions support our program. Apply a consultative, donor-focused sales approach during live event interactions Support end‑to‑end event operations, from setup to teardown, while engaging donors and maintaining accurate sales activity tracking. Document donor interactions, sales results, and event activity after each activation to uphold company's standards. Engage in structured training that develops your event, donor, and sales abilities through real‑world experience and supportive mentorship. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Warm, outgoing communicator with the confidence to connect face‑to‑face with diverse event attendees Energized by a mission‑based role that also carries real sales benchmarks. Committed to nonprofit impact and able to meet sales goals while honoring the mission. Strong attention to detail and reliability Full-time availability and flexibility on schedules
Pay:
$850.00 - $1,400.00 per week
