Event Associate Oklahoma City Thunder - 4.3 Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Join our Fan Development team as a Part-Time Events Associate. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of fan and partner events, helping deliver engaging experiences for guests and attendees. This position provides hands-on experience in event operations, fan engagement, and live event execution within the sports and entertainment industry.
In this role you will:
Contribute to the development of event concepts, themes, timelines, and event materials, including promotional items, signage, and documentation Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure event services, materials, and logistics Provide administrative and logistical support for event planning activities, including maintaining records, budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts Act as a key contact for vendors and internal teams during the planning and execution phases of events Assist with event setup, registration, on-site management, teardown, and guest support Ensure timely delivery, setup, return, storage, and inventory management of event materials and equipment Monitor event operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and resolving last-minute changes or issues as needed Gather event feedback and assist with post-event evaluations, reporting, and recommendations for future improvements Perform other duties as assigned What you'll bring to the role: Must be at least 18 years old 1 year of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Additional information: This is a part-time position reporting to the Event presentation Lead. The work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the team's season. The primary work location will be Paycom Center located in downtown Oklahoma City, but frequent travel to events around the metro will be required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional local travel. Physical responsibilities may include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. The work environment may involve both indoor and outdoor activities in various weather conditions, as well as exposure to loud crowd noise, amplified music, and flashing or strobe lighting during events and games.
