Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Event Staff member or Licensed Security professional, where your energy and vigilance will ensure the safety and success of PrideFest 2026 at Scissortail Park located in Oklahoma City. In the Licensed Security role , you will be the front-line protector, managing access control, monitoring event premises, and responding swiftly to any security concerns. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will help create memorable experiences for attendees while maintaining a secure environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a lively, fast-paced setting. In the Event staff role , you will maintain a welcoming and friendly presence, and be accessible to answer any questions or assist event attendees. You will be on the lookout for any potential issues and will report all concerns to a Licensed Security Professional. Responsibilities Greet and assist event attendees, staff, and vendors, ensuring smooth entry and exit processes. Verify tickets, credentials, or passes to control access points efficiently. Conduct regular patrols of the venue to identify security risks or safety issues proactively. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and first aid if necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution. Requirements Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations• (For Licensed Security applicants only) Experience in security, event work, or related fields. (preferred) Certifications in first aid and CPR to effectively handle medical emergencies on-site. (preferred) Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during events.
