Executive Meeting Manager Crescent Hotels & Resorts United States, Oklahoma, Tulsa 6110 South Yale Avenue (Show on map) May 01, 2026
Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Event Leadership Manage corporate meetings with 15 or fewer guestrooms.
Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
Develop and execute detailed event plans, timelines, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Oversee on-site execution to ensure all event components meet or exceed expectations. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering creative solutions and enhancements.
Handle VIP clients and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of any concerns. Revenue Generation & Financial Oversight Maximize total revenue through strategic upselling of food & beverage, audiovisual, and event enhancements.
Review contracts, billing, and final invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Support forecasting, pace reporting, and revenue strategy initiatives. Operational Collaboration & Leadership Partner with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, and Engineering teams to ensure flawless execution.
Lead internal event meetings (BEO, resume, operations) and communicate all details clearly.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and hotel policies. Guest & Brand Experience Deliver elevated, personalized service reflective of DoubleTree's reputation for warm hospitality.
Ensure all events create memorable, high-quality guest experiences.
Proactively anticipate needs and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred, but not required
2+ years of progressive experience in event management or catering, preferably in a full-service property.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of hotel/event systems (e.g., Delphi, OnQ, or similar) or willingness to learn
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Ability to navigate large event spaces, including ballrooms and meeting rooms. Work Environment Fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environment.
Combination of office-based planning and on-site event execution.
