Our Events Director will play a vital role in creating engaging experiences for our residents, fostering a sense of community and purpose. About the
Role:
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Events Director to lead our events and activities team. As Events Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of events, including social gatherings, entertainment programs, and educational seminars. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes socialization, connection, and overall resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate events, including theme parties, outings, and special occasions Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, recreation, and culinary services to design and execute events Manage event budgets, schedules, and logistics to ensure efficient execution Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and community partners to ensure high-quality event experiences Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote resident engagement and community building Recruit and manage event volunteers and staff as needed Monitor and evaluate event success, making adjustments as necessary to improve future events Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred Minimum of [insert minimum years of experience] years of experience in event planning or a related field Proven track record of successful event planning and execution Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with catering, entertainment, and event equipment preferred
