Job Description

Job Summary:
The Part Time Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and growing events at the cider house to increase guest engagement, community presence, and overall sales. This role works closely with vendors, performers, community partners, and the internal team to ensure events are organized, well-promoted, and successfully executed. Responsibilities include managing event communication, supporting marketing efforts, gathering social media content, building new event partnerships, and helping create memorable guest experiences that align with the cider house brand and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute weekly and monthly events at the cider house Communicate with vendors, performers, and community partners Ensure vendors are actively promoting events alongside the cider house Organize event logistics including setup, timing, seating, music, TVs, and guest flow Gather photo and video content during events for social media and marketing use Work with the marketing team to ensure events are promoted consistently Brainstorm and help develop new event ideas that drive traffic and sales Build relationships within the local community to create future partnerships Assist with event setup, breakdown, and overall event execution Monitor guest experience during events and communicate operational needs to management Help increase traffic during slower business periods through strategic event planning Support the front-of-house team during busy events when needed Maintain organized communication, calendars, and event details Option to pick up additional shifts as a Cider Tender based on business needs and availability
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines at once Comfortable building relationships with vendors, guests, and community partners Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging event ideas Comfortable capturing photo and video content for social media Ability to problem-solve quickly during live events Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospitality environment Basic understanding of social media platforms and event promotion Availability to work evenings, weekends, and during scheduled events as needed Hospitality, restaurant, event, or customer service experience preferred Compensation (if applicable) $20-$25/hr DOE
