Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Caretaker at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the event spaces. This role ensures that all facilities are in optimal condition to provide a memorable experience for clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the event spaces, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, ensuring all furniture and equipment are properly arranged and stored. Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning materials, and other necessary items. Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure all client requirements are met and spaces are prepared according to specifications. Respond to any immediate maintenance requests or emergencies during events to minimize disruptions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or suggestions for improvements to management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for staff and guests.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Required Experience:
Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role is highly desirable. Experience working in event settings or hospitality environments is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and event attendees. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or furniture as needed. Attention to detail to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of event spaces. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules. Problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during events. A professional demeanor and a customer-focused attitude.
