Event Assistant KENX Philadelphia, PA Job Details Temporary $24 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Zoom Video conferencing software Organizational skills Event guest experience design Video conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description Event Assistant (Part-Time / Temporary) Seeking a reliable, tech-comfortable Event Assistant to support conference setup, session management, and breakdown. This temporary, part-time role supports up to three events per year.
Responsibilities:
Assist with event setup and breakdown Support basic AV setup and troubleshooting Manage assigned conference sessions Monitor Zoom chat and relay virtual questions to speakers Pass microphones to in-person attendees Direct participants to correct breakout rooms Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Comfortable using Zoom (chat moderation, participant management, basic troubleshooting) Familiarity with basic AV equipment (microphones, projectors, laptops, sound systems) Strong communication and organizational skills Professional and dependable in live-event settings This position is ideal for a student or someone with flexible availability. Hours vary by event and may include early mornings or full event days.
