A Brief Overview The Foundation Fundraising Events Intern will assist with a variety of activities that support the organization's fundraising and engagement efforts. This role includes helping to coordinate event-related tasks and providing general support to ensure initiatives run smoothly. The intern may also interact with participants, donors, and internal teams, gaining exposure to public-facing work. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning more about fundraising, events, and nonprofit operations. This role will apply skills, education and knowledge base to processes and procedures in order to develop new skillsets and gain workforce experience. This role will work under direct supervision to provide support to the department as needed. What you will do Provide analytical and administrative support for various projects. Organize and prioritize work tasks appropriately. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED•Required Skills and Abilities Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Solid verbal and written communications skills Solid interpersonal skills To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
