Job Description

Major Event & Fundraising Coordinator Position Type:
Part-Time Schedule:
Up to 24 hours per week
Location:
On-site at Philadelphia School District school locations Overview The Major Event & Fundraiser Coordinator supports the planning and coordination of large-scale fundraising events and campaigns that support Fox Chase Farm and School District initiatives. This role focuses on fundraising-focused events (such as galas) and targeted fundraising efforts, including student international travel and special programs. Key Responsibilities Support planning and coordination of major fundraising events, including galas and donor-facing events. Assist with fundraising campaigns tied to specific initiatives (e.g., student international trips, program enhancements). Coordinate logistics such as timelines, vendor communications, volunteers, materials, and event-day needs. Track event tasks, deadlines, budgets, and basic fundraising goals using spreadsheets or simple tracking tools. Support outreach to sponsors, donors, and partners, including tracking commitments and follow-ups. Assist with event promotion materials and coordination with internal teams. Provide on-site support during fundraising events as needed. Collect post-event information, including attendance numbers, funds raised, and notes for reporting and future planning. Preferred Experience supporting events, fundraising, or community-based programs. Comfortable with organization, timelines, and coordinating multiple moving parts. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Experience in an educational, nonprofit, or school district environment is a plus. Pay Structure:
$88.40 per 6-hour day $44.21 per 3-hour day Please note compensation is nonnegotiable and set per the School District of Philadelphia on a per diem basis.
