The schedule is mainly daylight hours with some evenings and weekend requirements due to events schedule. Daylight schedule would be between 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. with some flexibility to adjust this. If you are someone who is passionate about educating the public about women's health research at Magee, this might be the perfect position for you!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and promote events surrounding MWRIF programs and brand-awareness. Sets up displays at events as well as handling distribution of promotional items and educating the public about Magee's research. Responsible for working with internal and community partners on event-related tasks. Attends and manages onsite displays and MWRIF presence at designated events initiated by MWRIF and partners. Event set up/tear down (with assistance as needed depending on size of event) Social Media content capture. Event related content support across digital platforms such as website, email and social media channels. Ensures all events are properly coordinated, all materials have been received, and proper information has been provided to the staff prior to event dates. Will be required to spend significant time walking and standing at events. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. High School Diploma Strongly Preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work evenings and weekends, based on business needs. Valid PA Driver's license and reliable transportation. Demonstrate a position and professional attitude at all times. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly
