Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual with a strong work ethic and leadership skills to join our team as an entry-level project manager. SPLtrak is an association management company that specializes in providing best-in-class services to non-profit, educational organizations to help them achieve their mission. As our company focuses on the implementation of the latest technology and the creation of custom web-based solutions for our clients, it is critical that are staff are proficient in the use of online/web-based tools and virtual meeting platforms.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and assist association membership. Manage day-to-day operations of the association. Assist association board of directors and manage monthly conference calls and in-person board meetings. Manage all aspects of each in-person annual meeting/conference including: Site selection, planning logistics, program planning, exhibits/sponsorship and event production. Manage all aspects of several online-only meetings and courses. Requires 4-6 weeks of domestic/international travel per year.
The successful candidate will:
Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a conference/meeting planner or non-profit association manager. Have the ability to multitask. Have the ability to achieve in a fast-paced environment. Possess effective writing, presentation, & social skills. Be extremely organized and superior attention to detail. Be self-motivated, require minimal supervision and possess strong leadership skills. Be very outgoing and personable. Possess strong computer skills with proficiency in: Microsoft Office Zoom Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) Online tools such as Google docs Virtual meeting platforms Mac OSX Social media Be able to travel several times a year to manage conferences/courses both in the U.S. and internationally. A primary or secondary degree in Event Planning/Management is encouraged. HTML/web site management experience is highly desirable, but not required.

The Environment:
This is not a telecommute/remote position. Our offices are not easily accessible by public transit and are located in Glenview, Illinois.

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
