Job Description

Description Love weddings, design, and being the person who makes an event shine from the first inquiry to the last candle? SoCal Candle Rentals is growing in Arizona, and we are looking for a Lead Event Manager to run our market end to end. This is a hybrid role. During the week you will handle sales, proposals, and client communication from home, then run events on site on weekends, from setup through strike. You will book the client, design the look, light the room, and break it all down at the end of the night. One day you are closing a booking and building a timeline, the next you are on site creating a glow that guests remember for years. What you'll do: Manage sales in
HoneyBook:
respond to inquiries, send proposals and invoices, and book clients Own client communication from first inquiry through post-event follow-up Build event schedules, including load-in and strike times based on the event timeline Design and arrange candle displays on site Lead setup and event execution Strike events at the end of the night: break down, safely extinguish, and re-box candles Clean candles between events and keep inventory event-ready Create and manage Instagram content for the Arizona market Partner wi the Warehouse Manager to facilitate the preparation, coordination, and execution of all events What we're looking for: Experience in event planning, event decor, candle placement, or coordination preferred Strong sales and client communication skills (HoneyBook or similar CRM a plus) Comfort with scheduling, proposals, and invoicing Social media skills, especially Instagram content and engagement A strong design eye and real attention to detail Highly organized with great time management Willing to work hands-on through setup, strike, and cleaning Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and late nights (strike is sometimes after 11 pm) Comfortable working outdoor venues in all seasons, including Arizona heat What we offer: Hybrid schedule; remote and in-person events. Pay:
