Event Planner/Coordinator 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Oviedo, FL Hybrid work $16 an hour - Part-time Goblin Market 4 reviews $16 an hour - Part-time The Goblin Court is looking for a super cool events planner to join da Goblin King's army!!!1!!! Goblin Market, named Orlando Weekly's Best Pop-Up Market, is in need of a communicative, self-starting, events-savvy goblin to help us plan our main pop-up market and spin-off events. Think drag shows, smaller themed markets, raves, maid cafes, clothing swaps, partner events and more!
This goblin will:
Communicate with venues, vendors and performers to put on events in association with the Goblin Court Track vendor payments and follow up on outstanding payments Prepare and send vendor applications Attend Goblin Market and its associated events to help load in and load out vendors, respond to guest and volunteer questions the day of, and help the Goblin King as needed Negotiate rental rates and execute contracts with key players Perform site visits at prospective venues Work with Goblin Market staff to ensure the appropriate teams stay informed about Goblin Court events The ideal candidate will: Have past events planning experience (especially if it involved the Central Florida queer/alternative scene!) Be a strong communicator (pls no ghosting lol) Be familiar with Discord and willing to use it for everyday team communications Know and love Goblin Market and fw our vibe Understand how to plan events that people go wild for Have a good working rapport with local performers, organizers and hosts Connections in the events space a plus!
