Overview Join our dynamic team as an Event Venue Coordinator, where your passion for hospitality and event management will shine. In this energetic and customer-focused role, you'll help oversee the planning, coordination, booking, and execution of a wide variety of events at our event center and private theater venue. Our venues host weddings, birthday parties, conferences, meetings, dinners, private movie showings, community events, and more. You'll work closely with clients from the first inquiry through the day of the event to help create memorable experiences and ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a part-time hybrid position that requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends based on event bookings. Responsibilities Meet with prospective clients and provide venue tours Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner Maintain clear and professional written communication with clients, vendors, and team members Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, goals, budgets, and timelines Coordinate event details including room setup, catering arrangements, theater bookings, and event logistics Assist with contracts, scheduling, invoices, and booking management Develop and manage detailed event timelines to ensure successful execution Prepare venues before events and ensure spaces are clean, organized, and event-ready Oversee on-site event operations and assist clients during events as needed Coordinate with vendors, caterers, entertainers, and service providers Help market the venue and promote events through social media and customer outreach Upsell additional services or venue enhancements when appropriate Maintain strong customer relationships before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol being served at some events Strong communication and customer service skills Clear and professional written communication skills are required Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and problem solve in fast-paced environments Professional appearance and positive attitude Comfortable working with the public and managing event-related stress Event planning, hospitality, customer service, sales, or venue experience preferred Basic computer, scheduling, and social media knowledge preferred Must be dependable, adaptable, and self-motivated Schedule This is a part-time hybrid position with a flexible schedule that includes: Evenings Weekends Event-based hours What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in busy environments, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences.
