Women Speaking Out is a non‑profit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth to take a stand against dating violence through education and action. It leads statewide awareness campaigns, peer training programs, and educational events that promote healthy relationships. By creating safe spaces for dialogue and hosting carefully curated events, the organization ensures every story is both shared and heard. Its initiatives inspire participants to drive social change and nurture a culture of respect and empowerment.

Indirect Report:
Founder, Women Speaking Out Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and logistics to ensure seamless event execution. Manage event data and organize school kit distribution for high schools and colleges. Develop engaging digital content such as handouts, presentations, and slideshows. Support event setup, breakdown, mentorship activities, and social media outreach. Disclaimer This list of responsibilities is not comprehensive. Requirements Current Chaminade student Federal Work-Study eligibility through Chaminade Unfortunately, due to this requirement, Marianist Exchange Program participants from Chaminade's sister universities are ineligible to apply. 2.0 GPA or higher (must maintain) Physical Requirements This position may involve light physical activity in both indoor and outdoor settings. Successful candidates should be comfortable alternating between standing and sitting, as well as navigating stairs and sloped walkways. They should also be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds. Strong motor skills and clear, effective communication are essential. Other Requirements This is a part-time, non-exempt employment position. Successful candidates may work up to 19 hours per week; however, employment is on an as-needed basis . Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to a varied schedule are essential. Follow all health and safety regulations and university procedures.
