Full-time Mobile Events Manager Job Description Classification:
Exempt (not overtime-eligible, paid via weekly salary) Reports to:
Director of Retail Operations Summary/Objective:
The Mobile Events Manager operates their store as an independent business unit whose staff effectively execute the company's mission: To impress and excite our guests in a way that cultivates loyalty and inspires them to share their experience.
Essential Functions:
It is critical for the Mobile Events Manager to embody the company's culture and utilize key business drivers to execute the mission in the constant pursuit of the company's vision: To be the preferred destination for unique donuts, coffee, employment & positive vibes in each of our markets.
  • Ensure all products, policies, and services are delivered 100% to Brand Standard, 100% of the Time, at 100% Volume.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to implement, and maintain store level operational goals from the strategic vision for the company.
This includes store-level strategies to maximize output (forecasting product sales, labor budgets, customer retention, year round profitability initiatives) and minimize costs (labor, product waste, inventory). This will be achieved with results that show in the store level P&L statements and other qualitative & quantitative financial metrics.
  • Work with local communities, fairs, events, and private customers to optimize the schedule for the mobile trailer. This includes applications, networking with the food trailer community, and researching the events that Holy Donut will showcase our unique products and culture.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recommend process improvement changes, cultural initiatives, staff appreciation, and performance metrics. Assist in becoming and remaining an employer of choice.
  • Oversee the selection of team members and all phases of onboarding.
  • Provide effective coaching to staff when they fail to meet company standards and partner with Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Partner with the Commissary to develop efficient in-house production plans and execute cost effective adjustments inline with dynamic business needs.
  • Leadership through communication; ability to conceptualize and communicate company policy, procedure and culture in both verbal and written form across store level personnel and business initiatives.
  • Develop Assistant General Manager and team leads as appropriate to prepare for growth within the company.
  • Oversee the coordination, building, and communication of team member schedules by balancing operational needs and labor costs. Manage Earned Paid Leave balance and utilization for the team.
  • Ensure cash handling procedures are precisely followed.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store in accordance with brand and food safety standards.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and repairs on restaurant equipment, facility, and grounds in and around the store. Partner with appropriate parties to monitor and plan for CapEx projects.
  • Flexibility with schedule: this position may be called in to cover unexpected vacancies in the staffing plan (callouts) and work additional hours if necessary, including being on-call to assist any and all store emergencies.

Work Environment The Mobile Events Manager works in a fast-paced environment in tight working quarters. This is a physically demanding and high-energy position that requires attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and standing/walking for long periods of time while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy and focus in performing the job. This position requires flexibility as the tasks performed may be varied throughout the shift. The Mobile Events Manager may need to step into any role within the trailer at any time. This position would allow for some remote work, but will also require on site management during events. This position may be required to assist at other locations in rare cases of business need. Required Education and Experience There are no educational requirements for this position. However, a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. 2-5 years of demonstrated successful leadership is required. Leadership experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, or other similar hospitality business is preferred. Experience in a production environment may be helpful.
