We're seeking a part-time Event Planner who is passionate about luxury weddings, exceptional service, and creating seamless, unforgettable experiences for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys working with people, vendors, and logistics.

Position Details:

Hours:

Approximately 20-30 hours per week (schedule will vary)

Availability:

Must be available for daytime meetings with clients and vendors Some evening/weekends availability required for events

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate weddings and events from concept through execution

• Attend and support client and vendor meetings (primarily daytime)
• Creative style to bring fresh and new ideas to the design of events
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and vendors
• Develop and execute detailed timelines, production schedules, and event logistics
• Manage vendor coordination and ensure seamless information flow across all parties
• Oversee event setup, styling, and breakdown with a strong eye for design and detail

Qualifications:

Prior event planning or hospitality experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills with a polished, professional presence Ability to remain calm, proactive, and solutions-oriented under pressure Availability on weekends - not all but it is required Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Chicago & the North Shore Ability to work independently and as part of a team
