Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience as an event coordinator or in a similar role.
Organizational Skills:
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal skills for communication with clients and providing high-level customer service
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and, often, event management software.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues in real-time Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Acute financial management skills Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities Planning & Logistics:
Working with potential clients to secure events.
Budgeting:
Creating and adhering to budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective, quality results.
On-site Execution:
Overseeing event setup, managing staff, handling on-site issues, and conducting final walkthroughs.
Client Communication:
Meeting with clients to define event goals, requirements, and themes
Job Types:
Full-time, Contract Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
