Job Description
Growing, planning-focused retirement and wealth management firm seeking an engaging Workshop Presenter to lead educational retirement workshops. This is an event-based 1099 contractor role with flexible scheduling and strong growth potential. The Workshop Presenter delivers educational, story-based presentations focused on retirement planning concepts and helps attendees schedule complimentary appointments with our advisory team. This role is strictly educational; there is no financial advising, product sales, or high-pressure tactics. Responsibilities Present retirement workshops in a professional, engaging, and approachable manner Follow presentation format and educational process Build rapport with attendees and clearly explain the purpose of the complimentary advisor meeting Schedule attendees for first appointments Represent the firm professionally at all events Qualifications Strong public speaking and presentation skills Comfortable speaking to groups and building audience engagement Professional, confident, and personable communication style Experience in teaching, training, presenting, hosting, or public speaking preferred Compensation Paid per workshop/event Flexible event schedule with opportunities for increased volume over time Location In-person workshops throughout Rhode Island and surrounding areas in MA and CT.
