  • $59,689 per year, USCA Student Affairs Under the supervision of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Events Coordinator plans, manages, and executes high-visibility, campus-wide, and externally facing events that advance the University's mission, brand, and strategic priorities.
This role serves as a central coordination hub for major institutional events, working across academic and administrative units, external partners, vendors, and community stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, professional execution, and strong brand alignment. This position emphasizes campus-wide coordination, external affairs, and vendor relations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent computer skills in word processing and database management. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and strong organization skills required. Must be able to travel occasionally and work evenings and weekend hours.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Job Duties Job Duty Signature and Strategic Event Management:
Assists with the planning, coordination, and execution major university events, including but not limited to: Convocation and Commencement ceremonies; Cyber Week; USCA Downtown Takeover; Chancellor's Legislative Dinner; MLK Jr. program, and new and emerging institutional initiatives and special events. Responsibilities include assisting with event planning: timeline development, venue coordination, logistics, vendor engagement, on-site management, and post-event evaluation. Provide oversight and management of the Chancellor's Ambassadors Program including selection, training, and support of signature and executive

Meet monthly with appropriate staff members to coordinate calendars for Vice Chancellors and the Chancellor including the Executive Assistant for the Chancellor's Office, Provost's Office, and Advancement and Development.
