Role Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of major Division of IT events, including technology showcases, AI initiatives, and campus-wide engagement programs. Develop and maintain a cohesive brand identity throughpelling visual design, video content, and consistent messaging aligned with university standards. Coordinate event logistics, budgets, vendors, and cross-campus partnerships to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Job Duties Job Duty Supervision Hire, lead, mentor, and train support staff teams with an emphasis on event planning, branding and media production. Recruit and manage student employees to aid with daily operations of divisional event planning and branding activities. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to support staff to ensure high-quality work and professional growth. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of support staff in event planning, media production, and branding. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 20 Job Duty Event Planning and Coordination Leads the full lifecycle of major Division of IT events, including Educational Technology Days, statewide AI events, campus-wide technology showcases, and training workshops. Coordinates event logistics such as venue selection, vendor relations, scling, catering, registration, marketing, and audiovisualtechnology support. Collaborates with Division of IT leadership, academic and administrative units, and campus partners to ensure event goals align with university priorities and IT strategic objectives. Manages event budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations to measure effectiveness and improve future programming. Oversees volunteer and staff coordination for on-site event execution. Essential Function Yes Percentage of Time 30 Job Duty Branding and Visual Identity Develops and maintains a consistent brand identity for the Division of IT in alignment with the University of South Carolina's brand guidelines. Create dynamic, engaging video productions for and social media. Designs and curates branded materials, graphics, and templates for internal and externalmunications. Ensures all marketing, event, and outreach materials convey a clear and cohesive visual and narrative representation of the division's mission and values.
