Job Description

The University of South Carolina is seeking someone who is dynamic, strategic, and high-energy that thrives in fast-paced environments to serve as the premium Services Manager for the iconic Colonial Life Arena (CLA). This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team that is behind some of the region's premier live entertainment, athletic, and special event experiences. From sold-out concerts and championship athletics to campus and community events, this position plays a critical role in delivering memorable experiences for every guest who enters our venues. Key Responsibilities
  • You will be the main contact for CLA suite holders and group leaders during events, ensuring seamless communication and first-class service. In this role, you'll build strong connections with corporate clients and guests while helping deliver unforgettable premium experiences from start to finish.
  • Maximize premium revenue for each event via dynamic pricing, packaging, incentives, and other new creative processes. Prospect, manage and maintain group and premium sales accounts for premium events. Identify opportunities for future premium sales.
  • Monitor executive and entertainment suite appearance and upkeep to ensure suites are staffed, stocked and ready to receive guests on event days.
  • Lead group sales initiatives for every arena event, collaborating with the marketing team to expand outreach and engage local organizations. Build strong partnerships with community groups—particularly those connected to the Athletic Department—to drive participation and grow high-impact super group sales.
  • Manage and process all group and premium ticket orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in management and supervision of intern training program to improve overall experience of interns at CLA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of sales
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, graphic design and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task under time limits.
  • Attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of contracts, work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
