Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Events, Outreach & Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, coordinate memorable events, and support the growth of our organization through strategic outreach and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a passion for hospitality and event planning, and a knack for building meaningful relationships. As a key member of our team, you will drive event marketing efforts, manage logistics, and foster connections that enhance our visibility and impact. This position is perfect for someone eager to make a difference while working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events including fundraisers, community outreach programs, and special celebrations to promote organizational goals. Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost event attendance and community engagement through social media, email campaigns, and local partnerships. Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering arrangements, contracts with vendors, and onsite setup to ensure seamless execution. Upsell additional services or products during events to maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Cultivate relationships with sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners to support fundraising efforts and organizational growth. Oversee budgeting for events and outreach activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources without compromising quality. Provide exceptional guest services during events by addressing attendee needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Experience Proven experience in event marketing, event planning or management within hospitality, restaurant, hotel or banquet settings. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts with vendors and sponsors. Demonstrated success in upselling or increasing revenue through effective sales techniques at events or in hospitality environments. Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences and fostering partnerships. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Experience in budgeting, contract management, catering coordination or banquet operations is highly desirable.
