Job Description

Commonwealth Partners is hiring an Event Assistant to support community outreach and fundraising events on behalf of a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As an Event Assistant, you'll help execute engaging campaigns that increase brand awareness, strengthen community connections, and generate support for charitable initiatives throughout the Nashville area. The Event Assistant plays an important role in bringing events to life from start to finish. Whether assisting with event logistics, interacting with attendees, or supporting promotional activities, the Event Assistant helps create positive experiences that reflect the nonprofit's mission and strengthen its brand within the community. Through hands-on involvement and direct engagement, the Event Assistant contributes to successful events that leave a lasting impression. Role Responsibilities for an Event Assistant Assist with planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of community outreach and fundraising events. Support event logistics, schedules, materials, and attendee experiences to ensure smooth event operations. Represent the nonprofit's brand at events by engaging with attendees and sharing information about charitable initiatives. Serve as a professional brand ambassador, creating positive interactions that strengthen community awareness and participation. Assist with promotional activities designed to increase brand visibility and support event attendance goals. Collaborate with fellow Event Assistant team members to ensure each event reflects the organization's values and brand standards. Track event participation and gather feedback that helps improve future outreach efforts. Support fundraising initiatives by educating attendees on nonprofit programs, community impact, and opportunities for involvement. Qualifications for an Event Assistant High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, retail, outreach, or promotional roles is helpful but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable interacting with attendees in face-to-face environments. Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay:
$600.00 - $950.00 per week
