Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand event objectives, themes, and budgets Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, vendor coordination, venue setup, and staffing requirements Negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue managers to secure the best terms Oversee all aspects of event marketing and promotion to maximize attendance, sponsorships and member engagement Manage budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality Coordinate catering arrangements, banquet setups, and hospitality services to ensure guest satisfaction Handle guest services on the day of the event, addressing any issues promptly to maintain a positive experience Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in future events Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor contracts and upsell additional services Proven experience in event planning and management across various settings such as hotels, restaurants, or fundraising events Excellent marketing abilities to promote events effectively through various channels Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality standards Effective time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Organizational skills for detailed planning, coordination of logistics, and documentation of event processes Experience with banquet operations, catering arrangements, and contracts management Knowledge of event marketing strategies and event management software tools Clear communication skills for liaising with vendors, clients, team members, and guests Join us as an Event Coordinator to turn visions into reality!
