Job Description

Venue Operations Crew We are now accepting applications for a qualified Venue Operations Crew at Belmont University. Employment Type Staff Internal Job Category Non-Exempt (Staff) Full-Time Department Strategic Venues & Event Svcs Hours 40
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Position purpose: The Venue Operations Crew is responsible for the physical preparation of venues before events and the breakdown and cleanup after events. This position requires the ability to follow instructions precisely, work efficiently as a team, and maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure venues are ready for clients and guests.
Essential Functions:
1. Setup and tear-down tents, tables, chairs, staging, protective flooring, lobby furniture and other equipment for events. 2. Load/unload trucks, van, carts and the like as needed. Transport materials to and from various campus event spaces. 3. Maintain clean event spaces, service corridors and storage areas. 4. Maintain an organized and clean inventory of supplies and equipment. 5. Follow safety guidelines and procedures for handling equipment. 6. Ensure all setups comply with safety regulations and floor plans. 7. Coordinate with event managers, venue staff and other crew members to ensure smooth execution of events and daily operations of the Office of Strategic Venues and Event Services. 8. Required Education High school diploma or GED required, technical training or degree preferred. Required Experience Entry level labor position, no prior experience required.
