Job Description

Job Overview Front Gate Event Staff are often the first interaction guests have when arriving at Concrete Street Amphitheater. This team plays a key role in creating a safe, organized, and welcoming entry experience for concerts, festivals, and special events. Staff members work in a fast-paced outdoor environment while assisting thousands of guests with ticket scanning, line management, directions, and event information. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy live events, working with people, and being part of a team-oriented environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on event schedules. Responsibilities Scan and verify tickets quickly and accurately using handheld ticketing devices Assist guests with entry, seating directions, venue policies, and general event questions Maintain organized entrance lines and crowd flow during high-volume entry periods Enforce venue policies, including bag policies, prohibited items, and re-entry procedures Communicate effectively with supervisors, security staff, and fellow team members throughout events Provide professional and friendly customer service while maintaining a positive guest experience Assist with event setup, gate preparation, and post-event closing procedures as needed Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain professional and calm in busy, high-energy environments Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for scheduled events Comfortable standing and working outdoors for extended periods of time Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Previous customer service, event, or guest relations experience preferred but not required Work Environment Outdoor concert and event venue Fast-paced, high-volume atmosphere Team-oriented environment with varying event types and crowd sizes Shifts primarily occur during evenings and nights depending on event schedule

From $12.00 per hour
