The Catering & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, staffing, and executing all catering and event services to ensure an exceptional customer experience from inquiry to event completion. This position serves as the primary point of contact for catering clients and oversees all aspects of event execution, including logistics, staffing, food presentation, customer service, setup, service, and post-event follow-up. The Catering & Events Coordinator works closely with restaurant operations, commissary, and leadership teams to deliver successful events that reflect the quality and hospitality of La Salsa Verde. This role requires flexibility, strong organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments. Attendance at catering events is expected and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities Catering Sales & Customer Service Event Planning & Coordination Event Execution Team Leadership Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Community & Business Development Qualifications Fluent in both English and Spanish. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in catering, events, hospitality, restaurant operations, or a related field. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
