Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating fundraising projects, programs and events for the Foundation. This includes working closely with Foundation leadership and external audiences on the planning, implementation and evaluation of these projects. This person will directly communicate and liaison with Children's donors, community leaders and Children's Senior Leadership Team and senior leaders, as well as represent Children's to external audiences and membership groups. This person will maintain a working knowledge of relevant government regulations, organization policies and relevant donor database software.
Responsibilities:
Appreciation Coordination and Event Planning:
Coordinate projects and event logistics for high-touch activities and events including audiences such as Children's major donors, Women's Auxiliary members, Board members, donor prospects and board members with the purpose of fulfilling the defined objectives of the Foundation.
- Maintain accountability for assigned projects.
Define timelines and manage scheduling and logistics for each project assigned. Take responsibility of each project assigned and uses judgment and discretion to make decisions in real-time in order to produce a successful event. Manage multiple schedules for multiple projects and events simultaneously. Develop, plan and implement specific development projects and program duties as assigned by Vice President or supervising program director or manager.
- Serves high profile audiences and team leadership in a variety of ways moving from project expert to project support frequently and with ease as well as taking lead in the planning and execution of administrative operations, tasks and responsibilities.
Demonstrates good judgment and resourcefulness when communicating with volunteers, donors and team leadership and identify when to work independently and when to work as a team, request feedback/direction, etc.
Leadership:
Provide leadership when coordinating projects or logistics for donor recognition, donor cultivation and fundraising events. Provide advice / mentoring to employees with less experience, skill or tenure. Evaluate the success of assigned projects and make recommendations for improvement. Provide input to project budgeting. Balance the goals and objectives of donors and membership groups with those of the Office of Development when supporting and planning fundraising events and activities.
Key Constituents:
Communicate directly with key volunteer leadership, Children's board members, clinical leadership and significant donor constituents when planning membership group events and activities.
- Successfully manage and enhance vendor relationships processing payments, documenting significant information, tracking orders, deliveries, details and maintaining product inventories.
- Represent Children's in the community at relevant functions.

WORK EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION
