August 3, 2026 About Trinity Valley School Founded in 1959 and named for the Trinity River that flows nearby, Trinity Valley School is an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory school serving more than 1,000 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 on a 75-acre campus in Fort Worth, Texas. Families choose TVS for its deep commitment to developing curious minds and lifelong learners, as well as for its strong sense of community. TVS provides extraordinary opportunities for students to grow in academics, athletics, visual and performing arts, outdoor experiential education, and global education-guided by our motto, Per Aspera ad Astra (Through Difficulty to the Stars!). Introduction to the Role At Trinity Valley School, athletics is a cornerstone of student development, community pride, and school culture. As Athletics Operations and Events Coordinator, you are the engine behind every game day, every event, and every moment that brings our community together. You'll be a trusted presence who ensures student-athletes, coaches, and families experience TVS athletics at its best-from the first whistle to the final breakdown. Who You Are You are a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of operations, people, and purpose. You bring a service-oriented mindset and the organizational acumen to manage complex logistics without losing sight of the human experience at the center of it all. You lead with integrity and emotional intelligence, remaining composed under pressure and adaptable when plans change-because in athletics, they always do. You are a natural relationship-builder who communicates clearly and collaboratively with coaches, families, facilities staff, visiting schools, and community partners. You understand that every interaction is an opportunity to represent TVS with professionalism and warmth. You are deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and you model the sportsmanship and character you expect from the student-athletes around you. You are also an experienced coach who believes in the multi-sport student athlete and finds genuine fulfillment in developing young people both on and off the field. What You Will Do Your days will be varied, purposeful, and energizing. As the primary point of contact for game day operations, you will oversee the setup and breakdown of game fields, coordinate with team managers, troubleshoot on-site technology needs, and ensure visiting schools have everything they need for a seamless experience. You will collaborate with head coaches to bring special event nights to life-Senior Nights, Teacher Appreciation events, and Lower and Middle School recognition moments that strengthen community bonds. Beyond game days, you will partner with the Spirit Program and Booster Club to plan schoolwide pep rallies, cookouts, fundraisers, and volunteer engagement opportunities that build school pride. You will coordinate SPC tournament preparations and manage all hospitality logistics, including meals for visiting teams and game officials. On the facilities side, you will work closely with the Facilities Department to ensure athletic spaces are properly scheduled, maintained, and utilized. You will manage facility rental logistics from scheduling and insurance to on-site supervision. You will also maintain staff compliance in schedules and contracts, coordinate all school-related athletic travel, track team rosters, and prepare monthly budget statements for each Program Director and Head Coach. When issues arise, whether complaints, safety concerns, or incidents, you will serve as the calm, capable liaison who addresses them with care and professionalism. In your coaching role, you will bring the same energy and intentionality to the field or court. You will positively develop student athletes in your assigned varsity sport, model exemplary sportsmanship, and collaborate with the Director of Athletics on hiring, evaluation, and professional development of coaching staff. You will also work with the College Counseling office to support the recruitment and placement of student athletes, and coordinate summer opportunities and camp selection with players and families. Your Impact The Athletics Operations and Events Coordinator is far more than a logistics role-it is a culture shaping position. Every well-run game day, every thoughtfully planned event, and every smooth travel experience send a message to our community: TVS athletics is exceptional, and our students deserve nothing less. You will be a visible, trusted presence who strengthens the connection between athletics and academics, supports coaches in doing their best work, and helps families feel welcomed and valued. Through your leadership, TVS's athletic program will reflect the school's mission of fine scholarship, wide constructive interests, intelligent citizenship, and spiritual and moral development-on and off the field. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or related field Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in game operations and management Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the club, JV/varsity, collegiate, or professional level Strong commitment to the multi-sport student-athlete concept Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain) ESC Region 11 Bus Driver Certification required prior to starting coaching duties CPR certification required Familiarity with SPC (Southwest Preparatory Conference) rules Ability to work prolonged and irregular hours Frequent district-wide and statewide travel Outdoor exposure to sun and heat Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation What We Offer Trinity Valley School is committed to attracting and retaining exceptional faculty and staff by offering: Highly competitive salaries Fully paid employee life insurance Health Insurance Family dental insurance TIAA-CREF 403
