Fundraising Team Member Engagment Coordinator General Description:
Under the supervision of the Corporate & Community Giving Manager (CCGM), the Engagement Coordinator (EC) is an agency Problem Solver . The EC works in close partnership with the CCGM to solicit, cultivate, retain, and grow sponsor and donor engagement. This includes volunteer communication, scheduling, and overall coordination. To a lesser extent, this will include actively soliciting donations. Problem Solvers are the foundation of the agency. They efficiently manage a multitude of critical and required tasks that support the function of the Agency Team and our various programs. Problem Solvers are . They do not look to their supervisor to come up with solutions. They ensure that important details do not slip through the cracks, are incredibly well organized, make the agency look professional and facilitate excellent audits, among many other things. Problem Solvers look to AI to create efficiency and excellence! Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities… He or she must: At least three years of fundraising or event experience required. Knowledge and acceptance of the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Exceptional writing and communication skills and experience, including public speaking. Ability to independently draft correspondence. Strong computer skills to include proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and training in Raiser's Edge. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from volunteers, donors, clients, and the general public. Job Conditions… Position is full-time (40 hours a week) and primarily works Tuesday through Saturday. Office hours are flexible. Evening and weekend work is required. The EC is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 20 pounds. Volunteer coordination requires significant time on the job sites, where inclement and uncomfortable weather will occur. It is a non-exempt position. Specific Responsibilities:
1. Work collaboratively with the Agency and FUN Team to achieve annual and strategic objectives. 2. Work collaboratively with the CCGM to achieve the annual fundraising objectives as articulated in The Plan for the CCGM. 3. Help identify major gift individuals and foundation for other FUN Team members. 4.
Volunteer Coordination:
Provide well-coordinated build experience for sponsor and non-sponsor volunteers for the new home builds and the rehab builds (including Cowtown Brush Up or CTBU). Stock and maintain build day bins throughout the build season, ensuring all necessary materials and supplies are available and organized for each build day. Build a successful and robust Site Host program. Responsible for the administration and maintenance of VolunteerHub , Trinity Habitat's online volunteer scheduling system. Effective and timely response to the concerns and requests of corporate and faith-based donors and their volunteers. Follow up with volunteer via a volunteer survey. Report results to CPO. Be visible and present on all build sites to ensure the best experience for sponsors and volunteers. Meet and greet volunteers! Maintain the volunteer "Sweet Spot." Develop a cultivation process that fosters good relations with all sponsors/prospects. Utilize donor database (Raiser's Edge) and maintain all sponsor and prospect record and activities. Successfully receive the "handoff" after a sponsor has made a monetary commitment. Ensure sponsor recognition on the build site through house signs and social media posts. Take and submit pictures to the Marketing Manager. Share stories to help Habitat tell the Habitat story! Foster and maintain positive relationship with Cornerstone, THFH volunteer project management group. Invite groups, individuals, and those in your personal and professional circles to Habitours, the annual BuildStrong Lunch and other Habitat events. Provide development support for special events, fundraisers, and donor appreciation events as requested. Speak at community, corporate, or other gatherings with the intent to inform and promote volunteerism and funding opportunities for Trinity Habitat programs.
