Job Description

Balloon Installer & Event Assistant (Part-Time) Balloons & Beyond HTX - Houston, TX 77008 Balloons & Beyond HTX is a growing luxury balloon decor and event rental company looking for a creative and dependable Balloon Installer/Event Assistant to join our team! This role will begin as a 1099 contractor position with the opportunity to transition into a W-2 employee role as business needs and scheduling become more consistent.
Responsibilities:
Install balloon garlands, backdrops, and event decor Load/unload event inventory and supplies Assist with event setup and breakdown Drive company Sprinter van to event locations Maintain professional appearance and communication with clients Help keep inventory and workspace organized
Requirements:
Previous balloon/event decor experience
REQUIRED
Creative with strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Comfortable lifting backdrops, marquee letters/numbers, and event equipment Comfortable driving a Sprinter van Strong communication skills Flexible availability, including weekends Professional appearance and positive attitude
Schedule:
Part-time Typically 10-30 hours per week depending on booked events Flexible prep hours Event installs are scheduled and require punctuality Corporate events are typically weekdays; private events are often weekends
Compensation:
Pay based on experience.
