Temporary / Event-Based Position Overview Deltacon Security Group (DSG) is seeking energetic, professional, and customer-focused individuals to serve as Special Event Staff for FIFA World Cup events in Houston, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the world's largest sporting events while assisting with guest services, crowd management, event operations, and visitor support. Special Event Staff members play a critical role in ensuring a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for attendees, guests, and event personnel. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to guests and visitors. Assist with crowd management and pedestrian traffic flow. Direct attendees to designated entrances, exits, seating areas, and event locations. Verify tickets, credentials, wristbands, or event access requirements as directed. Provide general event information and assistance to guests. Monitor assigned areas and promptly report incidents, hazards, or concerns to supervisors. Assist event management personnel with operational needs. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Follow all event policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation to and from event locations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Customer service, hospitality, event staffing, or security experience is preferred but not required. Event Schedule Applicants must be available to work one or more of the following event dates.
