Event Staff

Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Staff. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of various events by providing exceptional customer service and support. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties:

• Traveling to different venues is a must so you will need reliable transportation.
• Provide excellent customer service to event attendees, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered
• Assist with event setup, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
• Manage crowd control and assist with directing attendees to designated areas
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
• Assist with ticket sales and scanning at entry points
• Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with other event staff members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred but not necessary. We can train you. Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to engage with diverse groups of people, including children and families
• Experience in conflict management and problem-solving
• Familiarity with theater or events management is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Strong public speaking abilities for addressing event attendees
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Lifeguard certification is a plus but not required
