Events Manager Summit Church - 4.7 San Antonio, TX Job Details $45,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Responsible for planning, organizing, managing and coordinating events to include venue rentals, funerals/memorial services, and all facets of the following Church events: Easter, Christmas Blast, and some corporate events assigned by the Senior Pastor. Coordinate client and supplier meetings, handling logistics, managing budgets, invoicing, and preparing various event reports. Also responsible for marketing and promoting the Summit Event Center. Occasionally, there are opportunities to earn additional pay at a higher rate during special events.
Compensation:
$45,000
Responsibilities:
Manage event and project from start to finish to include budgets Plan event layouts and coordinate with facilities staff Administer and Coordinate volunteer positions to include Chosen Coordinate & oversee donation requests for Chosen Women's Event Coordinate all event details & publish event Production Book Be available and onsite day-of-event Efficiently and thoroughly coordinate and oversee event set-up & break-down Ensure all involved are thanked in a timely manner Rental event quotes, venue showings, invoicing, billing & contracts Market Summit Event Center to include calls, Instagram, stopping by local partners, and building relationships Event planning, design and production within time limits Working with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction Organizing facilities and details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently Performs onsite project inspections
Qualifications:
Must have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ A commitment to the mission and vision of Summit Church Strong leadership and organizational skills Strong oral and writing communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks/projects and keep a budget Professional demeanor Ability to think out of the box and offer creative solutions High school diploma or GED Strong, accurate, administrative skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to create, edit, and publish Microsoft documents & spreadsheets Adept at event administration, structure & layout Able to work independently Ability to manage event budgets Able to lead a team of volunteers and establish productive relationships at all levels Excellent organizational/time management skills, including significant attention to detail About Company We invite you to apply and join our dynamic team!
