Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Event Manager & Day of Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events, ensuring every detail is handled with professionalism and enthusiasm. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver memorable experiences that exceed expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about event management, possesses excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in the planning and organization of events from inception through execution, including vendor coordination and logistics management. Support the Event Manager in booking and managing weddings, corporate events, and private parties throughout the year. Coordinate day-of activities by overseeing setup, event flow, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations. Efficiently correspond to phone call and e mail inquiries within a timely manner Help coordinate appointments and visits to see our venue, and assist in the scheduling and booking of events. Seek out new potential clients while maintaining ongoing relationships with past clients. Assist with day-of-coordination for all weddings and events including running of the rehearsal, setting up decorations, and coordinating with the vendors and timeline. Skills Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts with clients. Experience in event marketing and event planning to coordinate all aspects of successful events. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Effective time management to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Organizational skills essential for detailed event logistics and coordination on the day of the event. Background in banquet service, catering, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industries is highly desirable.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
