Evenings & Weekends This position is responsible for: Under the general direction of the Sales and Event Coordinator, the Events Assistant will assist with organizing and executing all events. He/she will read and execute Banquet Event Orders and act as a liaison between the Kroc Center and the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivates relationships by maintaining personal contact with external and internal customers to ensure their future support and facility rentals. Assists with maintaining event agreement/contract records. Internally coordinates events to ensure that facility and event set-ups are complete and accurate for all rentals and events according to contract. Has excellent interpersonal skills, communicates professionally, handles tense situations, and capable of multi-tasking. Responsible for communicating the client's wishes with Kroc departments. Greets guests, answers phone calls, and makes sure the party location is clean and ready for the event.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to speak before large groups in person. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
