Job Description

Position Summary The Seasonal Event Staff Member plays a key role in creating memorable and seamless experiences for members and guests during Club-hosted events, including weddings, holiday gatherings, après-ski socials, private dinners, and large-scale club functions. With a spirit of hospitality and professionalism, Event Staff support the execution of service before, during, and after events in coordination with the Food & Beverage and Events teams. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic, member-focused setting with a premium standard of service. Training is provided, and enthusiasm, teamwork, and flexibility are essential. Key Responsibilities Prepare event spaces according to detailed layouts and timelines (tables, décor, place settings, signage, etc.) Greet and assist members and guests with a warm, professional demeanor Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with service standards Provide support for dinners, buffets, passed hors d'oeuvres, and bar service Maintain cleanliness and presentation of event areas throughout service Assist with event set-up, transitions, and post-event breakdown, including moving furniture and resetting spaces Communicate effectively with Event Managers, culinary staff, and other team members to ensure coordinated service Adhere to club policies, uniform standards, and health and safety protocols Prior experience in hospitality, banquets, or events preferred but not required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional attitude and appearance Ability to remain calm and gracious in fast-paced environments Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Attributes A service mindset: genuine enjoyment of creating positive guest experiences Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction precisely Team player with a positive, can-do attitude Interest in hospitality, events, food & beverage, or tourism industry
