Applicant must be available for the next event date, Fremont Fair June 19th - 21st Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Base Manager/Event HQ Representative to lead the coordination and management of our event operations from the central base of activity. This pivotal role involves supporting event logistics, managing other temporary staff, setting up lunch and dinner, keeping the staff break area clean, and ensuring seamless execution of all event-related activities. As the primary point of contact at the event headquarters, you will foster exceptional guest experiences, and support essential radio communication. Your leadership will set the tone for successful events, ensuring every detail aligns with our high standards of hospitality and excellence. Bold Hat Productions has many events each season and is hoping to find someone who can join us for multiple events each summer. Ideal candidates have experience working other events, and are interested in a future in event coordination, planning, operations and management. Responsibilities Checking staff in and out for their shift, answering questions they may have, and acting as a point of contact for them during event days. Monitoring radio communication and supporting employees who are out working the event. Maintain a well organized workspace, restocking snacks, picking up food for lunches and dinners at neighboring restaurants. Preparing Base/HQ for the next day, cleaning, setting up supplies, putting away food items. Helping support Event Coordinators with other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Event experience desired but not required. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to talk to anyone with kindness and hospitality. Ability to multitask and learn quickly on the job. Go getter attitude, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and help out.
Pay:
